Anak Panah's founder, formerly a traveling private tutor, often met students who had joined big tutoring centers yet whose grades never improved — because the classes were too crowded for individual attention. From there, in 2016, Anak Panah began with one simple principle: classes must be small enough that every child truly "gets it," not just sits and listens.

The name "Anak Panah" (arrow) comes from the philosophy of guiding a child like an arrow — first drawn back (diagnosis, mapping), then released right on target (clear learning goals), not just shot as far as possible.
